Group Exhibition – Creatures Of Solstice
Together with a few other artist, I had my first exhibition in January 2026. We organized for nearly half a year and got a lot of nice comments, talks and visits. The vernissage on the 9th was a blast and made me realize how important it is to talk with people about my passion and give something back to the community where I live.
It was an honor to meet so many different people and get to see their reaction to our art. I was reall proud to present my work and it was an emotional exhibition for me. When my mother died in 2017 I promised her on her death bed that I will pursue and follow my crerativity. It took some time to start with everything and my goal was to be part of an exhibition to show people my work. When we opened our small galerie, I was overwhelmed with joy. When a former co-worker told me how happy they were that I could follow my dream, I was so happy and moved. For me, art is everything.
For the exhibition I coordinated the room with DortmundKreativ and I am really grateful for the opportunity and the fact Dortmund gives so much space to art and culture. I wanted to give something back to our local community with this exhibition and look forward to working more with people and do my part in bringing art to them.
Public relations was one of my jobs, too. I contacted the Bergmann Braurei, a local beer brewery, and they sponsored our vernissage!
